Elvish

sindarin lessons

What follows are the lessons I taught at a Livejournal community. I do not claim to be an expert -- in fact, I believe the only expert is dead: Tolkien. These lessons are complete, and there will be no further updates. You are free to take the exercise at the end of each lesson and send them to me, or you can just read through the lessons.

instructor note

I am not an accredited instructor. I was once a slash fanfiction author. As such, my style will be geared to that subgroup. I am very likely to use slash as examples. The intent is not that you should be able to write a story in Sindarin -- I know, I've tried. It is simply that you should be able to correctly use Sindarin phrases and short sentences to flavour your own writings.
