Application Process

• Create the journal for your character
• Be certain to include the following on your character's info page: contact information, physical description, and backround bio (at least 300 words)
• Join the community with the character journal

When you have done those things, send an email to forsythe.apps @ gmail.com with 'Character Application' in the subject line and the following the body of the email:

• Mun journal
• Player name (does not have to be your real name, but we need to call you by something)
• Player email
• Player timezone
• AIM/Yahoo/Google Talk contact
• Character journal
• Character name
• PB choice (be certain the PB is not already taken by another player)
• Character race/species (we do allow various mythical species: elf, vampire, shapeshifter, incubus, succubus, angel, demon, etc.)
• Character age
• Character gender
• Character sexuality (if you know it)
• Special Abilities (whatever you place here will be discussed by the moderators and decided on, but if we accept them, that is all your character is allowed in game, there will not be a revision of powers and abilities)
• Weaknesses and Flaws (you must have at least three of these)
• Background (tell us about your character -- 300 word minimum)

Please include the following at the bottom of your character journal's user info:

<small>[character name] is an original character created by <lj user=munjournal>. S/he is a fictional character for the LJ RPG <lj comm=forsythe_hotel>.</small>

When your character is approved, you will be sent an email as well as be granted access to the community. Your first post into the community will be them checking in, being given their room key, and getting settled into the hotel. The first post tends to be a relatively short, simple one. Please do it as soon as possible after your approval.
