Beta: Half Elf Lost

5: morning kisses

December 5th

Glorfindel chuckled, his eyes still closed, and basked in the warm tickle of Erestor's tongue on his hip. How he loved the Counselor and his talented tongue. He squirmed as Erestor moved up his side, and yelped suddenly when a very cold nose pressed against his heated flesh. His eyes flew open and he sat up in the bed, eyes darting over the rumpled bedsheets for whatever had been licking his skin.

"Delos!" Erestor hissed from the doorway, his hands on his hips as he glared at the small puppy panting happily beside the Elda. "I told you to stay, Delos."

"A puppy?" Glorfindel asked, looking down at the yellow ball of fur staring up at the blond Elf, brown eyes bright and warm. "You brought me a puppy?"

Erestor huffed slightly and sat on the edge of the bed. "I saw how you kept looking at Elladan's dog and thought you might like one of your own. She is just now weaned but already quite a nuisance."

Glorfindel pulled the large puppy into his lap, a laugh escaping his lips as she wriggled in his arms. "And you named her Annoyance?"

"Well," Erestor said sheepishly. "You can name her whatever you like, but she has been nothing but an annoyance for me for the past three days. Trying to keep her hidden until today has been such trouble!"

The Elda leaned over with the wiggling puppy and kissed Erestor deeply, savoring the sweetness of his lover. "Thank you, Erestor. She is beautiful." Delos twisted out of Glorfindel's grasp and jumped into Erestor's lap, yapping up at the Counselor. "But," Glorfindel said as he laughed, "I think she likes you best."

"Wonderful," Erestor grumbled as Delos licked his chin. "I am sure Gellam will be thrilled." The image of the large black cat running and hissing at the large yellow puppy was almost humorous in Erestor's mind.

Almost.
