Slash Fiction Archives

AdultFanFiction.net: This is possibly the best place to read a lot of LoTR slash at one time.

Library of Moria: One of a number of extensive LoTR slash fic archives. A great feature of this site is their monthly challenges.

Melethryn Archive: Another great LoTR slash fiction sites. It is updated quite regularly.

The Mithril Awards: Not exactly a slash archive per se, but they are the most well-known Tolkien slash awards that I know of. Nominate your favorite Tolkien-based pieces here.

Sibling: A Brother's Love: An archive devoted to LoTR fanfiction involving siblings. I was contacted by one of the webmasters asking if they could publish Parting Ways on their site; of course I said yes.

Slash Writers Websites

Ansereg: A site run by Tyrellas featuring all her stories, most of which revolve around the concept of "ansereg," which she created.

Hith a Naur: Fog and Flame: Orchyd's site, and where Nellas and I room and board. She writes lovely fiction and is a wonderful friend, allowing me to share her space and bandwidth.

Love and Mithril: Anand's site. He's on the Imladris2 ML with me, and he's such a sweetie. He's a wonderful person and his stories are joys to read. Recommended reading include 'Where the Wild Thyme Grows' and 'Club Tropicana.'

Morgana's Slash Archive: Morgana is one of the best (in my opinion) at writing Glorfindel/Erestor slash. 'Glorfindel's Darkest Hour' and 'Flight' are two of my favorites, but I have yet to read 'Dinif en Qualen' which many praise and Nellas has illustrated.

Norui Alfirin: Edward Uwnhai Silverfang (that's a girl, btw) asked to link to my site since she loved reading The Flower and The Fountain so I thought I would reciprocate.

The Ondolinde Series: Anu's fiction based on The Silmarillion and revolving around Glorfindel and Turgon. She's set up a page of notes for people interested in The Silmarillion, but don't have the time or patience to read the book themselves.

Tales From the Vale: Home of the slash fictions written by Ilye. Excellent stories, and she's a great beta reader (but extremely busy). Recommended reading is 'The Kindred Spirits' trilogy ('The Saving Grace' is my favorite) and 'The Mirror.'

Whitemoon Tower: Home of LoTR slash and fan art by an artist named Eruntalince Sárie. I don't know her personally, and she prefers Aragorn/Legolas pairings which aren't exactly my cup of tea, but her gallery images are stunning.

Recommended Reading

Here are a few stories I think should be read from writers who don't have their own websites (or at least ones I can find):

Chains of Water by Rat, Turgon/Ecthelion set in Nevrast.

Child's Play by LadyaMaxine, Elrond/Thranduil and sooo funny!

Idylls of a King Forlorn by Gloromeien, Elrohir/Legolas set during the early Fourth Age.

On First Sight by Undomiel, Faramir/Rumil set in Minas Tirith at the end of Return of the King.

Mending a Heart by McKenna Espenshade, Elladan/Legolas and slightly AU (I think).

Saving Innocence by LadyaMaxine, Elrond/Thranduil and the sequel to [The Lust of the Ring] (I like the sequel ^_^).

Stud Fee by Isabeau of Greenleaf, Elladan/Eomer set in Edoras right after Return of the King.

The Great East Road by Weed Flora, Glorfindel/Lindir set after Glorfindel's return to ME.

The Lust of the Ring by LadyaMaxine, a Isildur/Thranduil story set in a slightly AU universe during the Last Alliance.

The Old Ways by Karla, a Haldir/Legolas story set during the Quest.

Artists Sites

Art with a Point: This is actually the site to Ann Briem's tattoo work; I'm working with her to design an elvish-type tattoo for when I graduate from my master's degree in 2005. She is a dream to work with, very understanding and attentive to her clients.

Hatsukoi's Chara-Plush: Hatsukoi's character plus webpage. She's an artist in the respect that she custom designs and makes plush dolls of movie, anime and RPG characters. She has an adorably droolable Elrond doll up and is working on two Legolas ones and an Elrohir doll.

Lul's Artwork: Hosted on Ilye's fiction site, Lul is an awesome CG artist. She's helping illustrate a scene from chapter 9 of In Twilight.

Menegoth-The Thousand Caves: Nellas is another great LoTR artist. She has done a number of illustrations for Ilye's stories as well as some of her own. And we're now roomies!

The Goddess Art of Jonathon Earl Bowser: This is the website of a professional artist whose Mythic Naturalism series reminds me a great deal of the Valier and some of the female Maia.

Painting Dragon: Pira's art page. Pira is on the Elf Fetish mailing list with me; she's so sweet and very helpful whenever someone has a question. And the elves she draws are downright yummy!

SayAye's Little Elves Slash: Lovely Say! She's a wonderful artist, has a great sense of humor and is a good friend. She drew my little elflings for me and will draw them again when they grow up.

Japanese LoTR Artist Sites

Please keep in mind that the following sites are in the Japanese language. Most of the images will be in a section either labelled as "Gallery," "Illust" or "Pict." If it is not, my suggestion is to move your mouse around the page until it picks up on a link, then check the URL of the link, which will pop on the lower left corner of your browser.

Fanlistings

ecthelion and glorfindel -:- the flower and the fountain
A very strange coincidence, don't you think, that there is a fanlisting out there that has the exact same name as one of my more "famous" stories? And Trinity and I have never met until the morning of 11/4!

Children of Elrond || LOTR slash || Elves of Rivendell || Undying Hero

Shopping

Alvo Shop: A place run by an acquaintance in Japan and her friend in Thailand. They specialize in LoTR and Harry Potter products from Japan and Thailand, specifically doujinshi (Japanese fan comics).

Celticottage: The Elvish Love Ring, based off the concept of the One Ring, is found here. I have one and it is absolutely gorgeous, though people mistaken it for the One Ring.

Jens Hansen Gold & Silversmith: The sales website for the creator of the One Ring for the LoTR movies. They are based in New Zealand; you can purchase a One Ring replica, as well as Frodo's Elvish Chain.

Sideshow Weta Collectibles: Lord of the Rings: Tons and tons of figures, busts and weapons miniatures. I have yet to order the Legolas bust, figure and weapon miniatures but I did order the Galadhrim warhelm and archer figure.

The Noble Collection: This website sells many of replicas of the LoTR jewelry shown in the movies, such as Arwen's Evenstar pendant, Aragorn's Ring of Barahir and Galadriel's Nenya.

Tolkientown.com: The BEST place to find a lot of LoTR related merchandise. Jewelry here is a little more expensive than at The Noble Collection. But, Tolkientown.com also sells swords, bows, pewter goblets, posters, magnets, and lots of other stuff, most of which I really really want.

Elvish Costumes

Visit my costuming website to see what I've made, what's in the works, what's being planned and visit other costumers webpages, reference sites and merchant sites.

Has nothing to do with LoTR or Elves, but this is my other costuming website, devoted to anime/cosplay costumes.

General Elvish Sites

The Encyclopedia of Arda: An extensive website/dictionary/encyclopedia of everyone/everything/everywhere/every word found in Tolkien's world. It helped me out A LOT to write The Flower and The Fountain.

Miscellaneous Sites

Lord of the Rings Adult Links: A site dedicated to being a mass LoTR/Tolkien links site. Go here to find other wonderful places I have not listed here.
